Head of Tatarstan presents Belarusian leader with state award - Order "Duslyk"

Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented the Order of Friendship (Duslyk) to the Belarusian leader during his talks with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in Kazan, BelTA reports.

The Order "Duslyk" is the second most important state award of Tatarstan. It is awarded "for special merits in strengthening the international prestige of the Republic of Tatarstan, friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and foreign countries, other subjects of the Russian Federation, for significant contribution to the development of economic, trade, scientific, technical, social, cultural ties and industrial potential, effective investment, charitable and public activities that contribute to the prosperity of the Republic of Tatarstan".

The Order, as well as other state awards of Tatarstan, is awarded by the decree of the head of the republic upon the decision of the relevant commission on state awards.
