Famous people should create fashion for a healthy lifestyle and deep knowledge, generate a sense of pride for the people and the country. Such an opinion was expressed by Head of State Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with representatives of the leading media, intellectuals, athletes and civil servants.
Today Alexander Lukashenko presented state awards to the representatives of media, culture and art. These people were awarded for many years of fruitful work, considerable personal contribution to the development of national journalism, creation of a single information space, improvement of the Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the sector of television and radio, significant achievements in the sphere of culture and art.
The medal of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to Head of the Department of Political Analysts of the main directorate of the TV News Agency Olga Makei. An official message of thanks was received by Deputy Head of the Department of Special Projects Natalia Zhdanovich and Deputy Director of the TV News Agency Sergey Khamentovsky.
Also today, the Order of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to director of the TV and Radio Company Mir in Belarus Vladimir Pertsov.
The honorary title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus was awarded to Alexander Solodukha.
