Good prospects for developing cooperation between Minsk and Tbilisi

This was stated by the President of Belarus at a meeting with the Ambassador of Georgia. The work of David Kotaria in our country is coming to an end. The last 5 years have been effective for both the diplomat and the two states. It was during this period that the leaders exchanged official visits.

Alexander Lukashenko visited Georgia in April 2015. It immediately affected the mutual trade. As a result of last year, the trade turnover amounted to more than 73 million dollars. The main export of Belarus to the Georgian market was high-tech industrial products. In total, more than 15 representative offices, subsidiaries and distributors of Belarusian enterprises operate in Georgia.

Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Georgia next year will be important for the development of the dialogue between the countries.
