The Belarusian economy overcame the negative consequences of the global economic crisis and over the next 3 years should catch up with the parameters of the five-year program of employment, income, financial system stability, cost of loans and inflation. Such conclusions and tasks were determined today by the Head of State.
Natalia Kochanova, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus:
"Now we are preparing and practically tomorrow we will introduce a new concept of Decree No. 3. We analyze this situation, it is really serious. The data given to us by the regional executive committees suggests of about 500 thousand unemployed people.
We see, and according to the estimates of the information and analytical center, that this is the main issue that worries the residents of our country. In different regions the situation is different, but it really does take place today."
The budget will remain social, while the financial sector will remain stable. At the meeting, the bottlenecks of the economy were analyzed in detail, so that next year they did not become an unpleasant surprise. And they listened to both the Government and alternative points of view: a monitoring group of senators and experts, the administration of the President, state control and governors. In the opinion of the ministers, the pain points are the crediting and the problem with the orders. A typical example is the construction industry.
In general, the budget for 2018 is sustainable. Although the figures are not yet final. For example, there is a direct instruction of the President to the Ministry of Finance - to cut expenses for the Administration of the President and the Government by 10%. This is an additional reserve for wages and development. In mid-December, the bils should be in Parliament.
