Belarus and United Arab Emirates agree to expand cooperation substantially

The visit of President Alexander Lukashenko in the Gulf countries continues. The Head of State has visited the emirate of Dubai, which is recognized as the financial capital of the Arab Federation and the region as a whole. Alexander Lukashenko held talks with Vice President, Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Belarusian leader has offered to transfer positive political relations to good economic performance. Belarus and the UAE are ready to significantly increase interaction is such spheres as logistics, IT, green energy, defense industry, mechanical engineering, tourism, real estate and space.

Specific areas for investment in Belarus are discussed at the talks in the UAE. Partners from the UAE are interested in creation of joint ventures in our country for the supply of products to the Emirati market. The two governments will work on a number of projects in the most promising areas for approval at the highest level.
