Alexander Lukashenko lights Christmas candle

Today the Orthodox Belarusians celebrate Christmas, one of the main religious holidays. Liturgies are held in all parishes of the country. According to a good tradition, the head of state shared this bright holiday with the believers and lit a Christmas candle in St. Elizabeth Monastery. The church received a gift from the President, an icon of the "Nativity of Christ".
