Prospects for cooperation with Africa and work of Presidential Administration discussed by Head of State and Viktor Sheiman

Our country relies on the development of relations with different states of the second largest continent of the planet. Official Minsk is aimed at expanding economic and cooperation ties with this promising region.

The promising areas of cooperation are mining, construction, energy, agriculture, training. In these areas Belarus intends to increase its presence in the south of the continent (in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique). Belarusian specialists are already working in the south-east of Africa on the creation of joint agricultural enterprises and a transport company. In addition, our country will take part in the construction of power plants in Zimbabwe.

Today, development issues of the Management Department of the Presidential Administration were also discussed. This structure is engaged in a wide range of activities: from handicrafts, to agricultural enterprises. In the future, new areas will appear, including the production of medicines, medical equipment and consumables. The agricultural sector will be expanded: it is planned to create an enterprise for the cultivation and processing of salmon.
