There is no nation without education. With these words, the President began communicating with talented young people at the Yanka Kupala University of Grodno.
The meeting was also attended by students of medical and agrarian higher educational institutions. Alexander Lukashenko notes that the universities of Grodno region are intellectual centers not only for the region, but also for the country. It is always important that the learning conditions are close to the real conditions of future activities. The Belarusian education system should train specialists with well-developed entrepreneurial skills.
The conversation with students turned out to be very thorough and sincere. A variety of topics were discussed including those related to the learning process. The President is opposed to blindly copying other people's education systems. It is necessary not to break, but to improve our own system. They talked about the need to encourage employers to attract students to work and touched upon the development of the whole Grodno region. Personal questions were asked as well.
The President was told about the socio-economic perspectives of Grodno at the site of the Korobchitsy agro-tourist complex. The regional center should develop without haste. At the same time, it is necessary to develop settlements in rural areas.
Alexander Lukashenko visited the local sports complex. Every day up to 400 children from the children's sports school study there. Alexander Lukashenko noted that it is necessary to consider rewarding coaches for training good players.
