The strategy of relations between Belarus and China, possible problems of the Great Stone Industrial Park development and preparation for the upcoming summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization were discussed today by President Alexander Lukashenko with head of Chinese diplomacy in our country, Ambassador Cui Qiming. The Head of State notes that the diplomat is the best expert in China in the issues of bilateral agenda and his position is extremely important for the relations and preparation of meetings at the high level.
In the first ten days of June China will host a meeting of the leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. With active support of Chinese partners Belarus has improved its status in this authoritative integration from a dialogue partner to an observer.
A landmark event will be Vice President Wang Qishan’s visit to Minsk. The choice of Belarus as the country of the first official visit immediately after election to high office testifies to the attention of the Chinese leadership to the development and deepening of bilateral relations.
