Alexander Lukashenko goes on state visit to Azerbaijan

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has gone on a state visit to Azerbaijan, the press service of the Belarusian leader said.

In Baku, the head of state will hold official talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The meeting of the two leaders will be held in a one-on-one and extended format with the participation of members of the delegations. The Presidents will discuss topical issues of bilateral relations with a focus on expanding trade and economic ties in various sectors and developing cooperation in industry and agriculture.

Another topic of the talks will be cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan on international platforms and in integration associations. The heads of state will discuss the situation in the region and in the world as a whole. A package of bilateral documents will be signed following the talks.

In Baku, Alexander Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev are also expected to visit the Azerbaijani international agricultural exhibition Caspian Agro to familiarize themselves with the expositions of Belarus and Azerbaijan and the implementation of joint projects in the agro-industrial complex.
