With their labor, talent, initiative and skills the Belarusians make life better, ensuring the country’s well-being, as stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at a state award ceremony. Among the 39 awardees were doctors, teachers, athletes, artists and military men. The President particularly welcomed the fact that prestigious awards had been conferred on the people who demonstrated true heroism, risking themselves for the sake of saving lives.
Mothers with multiple children received the iconic award - the Order of the Mother. Alexander Lukashenko thanked all the attendees for their contribution and role in state building, economy, industry and culture.
