20 years from the first inauguration of President Alexander Lukashenko

The ceremony took place on July 20, 1994 at the 15th session of the Supreme Council. Alexander Lukashenko swore allegiance to the Belarusian nation. In his speech the President stressed that he is a gurant of rights of all citizens regardless of age, party, nationality and religious affiliation.
