Elections in Poland: Why they may end in civil confrontation

The wind of change is already felt on the streets of Poland. The election campaign, which preceded the vote, is rightly considered one of the dirtiest in recent decades. The key parties poured dirt on each other in a battle of dirty laundry. Society is literally torn in two and set up for confrontation.

"I would like Poland not to be ruled by only one party, to have at least a minimum of diversity. These are my expectations," Polish residents share their opinions.

Wojciech Przybylski, editor-in-chief of Visegrad Insight (Poland):

"If the Law and Justice party wins this election again, it will fail to deliver on its promise to shift the center of gravity to the center of Europe because of its highly isolationist and nationalist foreign policy."
