Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is expected to arrive in Belarus on a working visit today to hold high-level meetings and negotiations with the Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei.
Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Department, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry: “The agenda of the negotiations includes a wide range of topical issues of bilateral Belarus-Russia cooperation, collaboration within various integration formats (primarily in the Eurasian Economic Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Collective Security Treaty Organisation) and mutual support and coordination of approaches to activities within international organisations. The parties plan to exchange views on the most topical issues of regional and global security and stability.”
The talks will also touch upon legal framework development and interaction of the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Russia.
