The UAE is ready to become a gateway for Belarusian goods to enter the markets of third countries. This was stated by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al-Musharrakh at a meeting with Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, BelTA informs.
The ambassador handed Roman Golovchenko an invitation sent by the UAE Prime Minister to the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12.
"Belarus' participation in the conference will give it an even higher level and will make it possible to achieve both the common goals of our two countries and the goals sought by the whole world," Ibrahim Salim Mohamed Al-Musharrakh emphasized.
According to him, the conference has several objectives, the main one being to look at the financial contribution of the countries that signed the Paris Agreement, as well as the extent to which they have implemented the agreements within the framework of the agreement.
Another goal of the conference is to keep global warming at 1.5 degrees Celsius. As well as identifying those countries that may have the major impact on climate change.
"There is a very good relationship between our countries. I hope that your participation in this event will be at the highest level. And it will contribute to further strengthening of our relations," the Ambassador said.
