The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgar Rinkevich, is visiting Minsk.
Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs f Belarus: “Latvia is traditionally a very important trade and economic partner for Belarus. This country is in the top 10 countries for Belarusian exports. The use of the port structure, the use of transport and logistics capabilities is one of the promising areas of our cooperation. We intend to continue to develop mutually beneficial projects in Latvia.”
A number of specific projects will be discussed in October by the Belarusian-Latvian Intergovernmental Commission.
