First session of Council of Republic of 7th convocation starts today

The first meeting of the Council of the Republic of the seventh convocation began just an hour ago. All senators are in a good mood. They had just half an hour to get acquainted, and then went to work. The key event on the agenda is the election of leadership.

The first session of the senators will end on December 20, in 2 weeks. Experienced colleagues will help the seniors to learn the work. 11 people have moved from the previous Council to the current, which means that continuity in the Council of the Republic is preserved.
