Belarus is ready for any scenarios in response to the actions of Westerners during the upcoming elections. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, reports BelTA.
"As for the Belarusian-Russian relations, there's nothing to discuss. We act as a single entity. And rest assured that Belarus will be committed to this principle, no matter how they try to divide us on the eve of the parliamentary elections," assured the Belarusian leader.
"We will hold elections of deputies of various levels in February (during the unified voting day. - BELTA's note). The Presidential elections will be held a year after the parliamentary elections. We will have such a difficult period. And they are preparing for it - the Westerners. We see it and are ready for any scenario," added Alexander Lukashenko.
