The member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization adequately assess the challenges of the time and are ready to confront them together. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in a narrow structure, BelTA informs.

"The very fact that we have gathered at this table shows that we adequately respond and assess the challenges of time and are ready to confront them together. The fact that some of our partners are stormy in their public statements and provocative actions is primarily their problem. I will say one thing: if there are claims, one should voice them looking into each other's eyes rather than talking through the media," Alexander Lukashenko said.

The President emphasized that summit meetings are held precisely to discuss all the pressing issues and find solutions. "And only one-day politicians can create a situation of conflict, making a gift to those who are not interested in strengthening the security of the CSTO member states. This is irresponsible and shortsighted," the head of state said.

"I am convinced that, despite everything, we are able to cope with all the difficulties in the zone of our responsibility. And we are doing it. Even if not in full, but we do a lot, especially recently," added the Belarusian leader.
