Lukashenko announces number of international talks and visits

The head of state today held a meeting with the participation of the leadership of the government, the Presidential Executive Office, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They discussed two large sections of issues. First, the international agenda. The upcoming meetings and negotiations are in the center of attention. It has been a tense year, Alexander Lukashenko noted. A number of visits of the head of state were postponed to the winter period, including visits to the African continent. This is one of the promising areas for our cooperation.

"The topic of our conversation is international meetings, negotiations. First of all my visits. You know that the year was busy, especially the summer and fall period. And we postponed a number of visits already to a later period. Frankly speaking, winter," said the head of state.

Alexander Lukashenko mentioned the development of cooperation with the countries of the African continent, including Equatorial Guinea and Zimbabwe. "We agreed to visit certain countries," he said. - I think I will meet with the presidents of some African states at the climate summit to be held soon in Dubai and agree with them on negotiations and, if necessary, visits to African countries.

The President emphasized: "All of you should understand, this is the far arc of our cooperation, but it does not mean alien countries." "With some of them we have good relations, both in trade and economy."
