The government talked about new joint projects. They noted the importance of interaction between the countries in the international arena. Belarus and Cuba always supported each other. They jointly oppose the sanctions dictatorship and advocate the rapid construction of a new fair world order. This was stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko at a meeting with his counterpart Manuel Marrero Cruz.
Today, the countries are ready to jointly defend their sovereignty, independence and develop bilateral cooperation for the benefit of people. Just to intensify cooperation, Belarus will increase export crediting of its products to Cuba. The existing agreement on mutual supplies helps to develop cooperation, and a draft protocol has already been worked out to increase the volume of sales, expand the list of goods and the number of enterprises.
Roman Golovchenko said that the parties have identified specific projects of interest for implementation. "But in order to make a final decision to start them, it is necessary to reach acceptable parameters of business plans. We are talking about both the modernization of Cuban food industry enterprises and the production in Belarus of modern high-tech medicines developed by Cuban scientists.
