A new stage of development of the political system of Belarus has begun. This was stated by chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus (LDPB) Oleg Gaidukevich after the meeting of the head of state with the leaders of political parties of the country, BelTA informs.
The Liberal Democratic Party leader called the current meeting of the President with party leaders a historic event for the party movement in Belarus and a new stage in the development of the country's political system.
"The very fact that the head of state meets with the leaders of political parties is the first time in the political history of Belarus. It didn't happen before not because the President didn't want to - the parties were not ready in principle. He didn't meet for this very reason, because of the parties that were traitors: in 1994, they betrayed him, in 1995, 1996 in 2020. You've seen how some parties behaved in 2020: someone went to the square to destroy the country, while someone just sat in the bushes," said Oleg Gaidukevich.
