This figure was obtained from the results of registration of initiative groups, announced in an exclusive interview to our channel by the head of the Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina.
Lidia Yarmoshyna, head of the Central Commission of Belarus for Elections and National Referendums: "Central Election Commission held a series of seminars in all regions and the city of Minsk with the leadership of district and territorial election commissions before they set global targets. We constantly put emphasis on the implementation of the OSCE recommendations given to us after the presidential election."
Election of representatives of the Chamber of Deputies will be held September 11. An active phase began a week later - on the formation of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament. Deputies of local councils will nominate a candidate in the Council of the Republic.
