Belarus to take part in 74th session of UN General Assembly

Education, combating human trafficking, transition to renewable energy will be discussed by heads of state, governments and foreign ministries at the UN Headquarters. The Belarusian delegation at the 74th session of the General Assembly is headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei. 

Anatoly Glaz, Head of the Information and Digital Diplomacy Department, spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry: "The head of the Belarusian delegation will take part in a number of high-level events including a political forum on sustainable development, a conference on promoting the entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and a special session on the occasion of the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. Belarus will chair the fifth ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends United against Human Trafficking".

In addition, Vladimir Makei will participate in the traditional meetings of the CSTO Foreign Ministers and the Central European Initiative. The diplomat will also address the Security Council session on UN cooperation with regional organizations in peace building.
