Yesterday, President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on establishing visa-free entry to Belarus for the citizens of 80 countries.

The visa-free entry will be granted for a period of stay of up to 5 days, with arrival and departure via Minsk National Airport. The decree applies in the first place to Belarus’ strategic partners, countries without migration problems and the states that have previously unilaterally lifted visas for Belarusian citizens.

The visa-free entry will apply to the citizens of 39 European states, including all EU countries, as well as to Brazil, Indonesia, the USA, Japan, Australia and other states. The presidential decree on visa-free entry is aimed at promoting business and leisure tourism. The rules will remain unchanged for foreigners making official visits.
