Belarus sets task to substitute imported weapons to fullest extent

The main weapon against competitors is a quality and modern domestic product. This also applies to enterprises of the defense sector. For them, the end of the year is a hot time. Less than a month is left to fulfill the state defense order. Twelve organizations within the State Defense Committee are involved in its implementation this year.

Belarus has already produced and delivered to the troops 12 radio relay stations,  a radar complex,  a jamming station, automation complex, 6 command and control vehicles and 20 sets of encryption equipment, as well as communication and information support equipment. The President also set the task to replace the imported armaments to the fullest extent. 

Our armament specialists are coping well with this task. For example, this week the first Belarusian grenade launcher system was tested. There are only five countries in the world that produce similar weapons, and the Sapphire developed by the Belarusians, is unique in this respect.
