National Art Museum to sum up results of plein-air "Sacred Belarusian Land"

The results of the plein-air "Sacred Belarusian Land" will be summed up today in the halls of the National Art Museum.  The sixth forum was held in September in Ivenets.  The plein-air retained its international status: masters from Moldova and Russia took part in it. All paintings are dedicated to the first High Priest of All Belarus Metropolitan Filaret. The best children's drawings were also presented.

Monument to Metropolitan Filaret to appear in Minsk

At the same time, they are going to immortalize the memory of Metropolitan Filaret in Minsk. A bronze monument will be installed near Svyato-Dukhov Cathedral. A team of sculptors headed by Andrey Khotyanovsky are designing a sketch of the monument to the Belarusian hierarch.
