Monument to tankers who liberated the city unveiled in Novogrudok

A monument to the tankers who died during the liberation of the city was opened in Novogrudok. Despite the fact that almost 80 years passed since July 1944, every year the history is replenished with new information. Local inhabitants often help the researchers. Thus, a letter of one of the witnesses of those events helped to establish the exact place of the tank battle and immortalize it with a new memorial.
