The 24th International Book Fair is taking place in the BelExpo exhibition hall with an area of 3,000 square metres. It features books from 31 countries, Greece being this year’s debutant. The guest of honour is the United Kingdom.
The programme comprises of over 300 presentations, signing sessions and a writer symposium. Today, exhibition visitors will have the opportunity to meet with the writers and attend a workshop on book printing using a printing machine made according to 16th century designs. Experts believe that such a device was used by Francysk Skaryna.
The 24th International Book Fair will be operating till the end of the week.
