Wet snow and rain of the cyclone Danielle left without electricity 140 settlements.
Zhitkovichi area suffered from the snow and ice attacks more than other areas: more than 50 settlements were left without power there. Several villages in Zhlobin, Rogachev, Mozyr and Oktyabr areas were left without electricity as well.
More than 40 teams of power engineers were working in the problem areas. By the end of the day they managed to eliminate almost all of the consequences of the disaster.
Today the region faces a new problem: the strong wind that tears frost from wires and trees.
