Dialogue platform "Strong in Unity" held in Minsk-based House of Friendship

The House of Friendship in Minsk hosted a dialogue platform "Strong in Unity" to mark the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia. The geopolitical and socioeconomic partnership is a priority for us. We signed a high number of export agreements with Russia. The parties discussed the issues of life, culture, science, education and social protection. Interaction in the field of communication is important as well. For example, the cancellation of roaming within the framework of the Union State is being prepared. 

Petr Petrovsky, political analyst: "I want us to have not only a single market of agricultural products or machinery, but also a market of oil and gas. These are the goods that should be sold in national currencies and the price should be formed by everybody jointly according to the same principle". 

A solemn meeting "The Union State: Opening New Opportunities" will be held today at the Palace of the Republic. The following topics will be on the agenda: common legal space, defense and security, economic potential, social projects and youth participation in the development of the two countries.
