Pupils of cadet classes from all over the country came to the action We Are Faithful To This Memory of the Belarusian Peace Foundation. On the eve of the Day of the frontier guard, they honored the memory of those who died defending the citadel. Schoolchildren carried portraits of heroes: lieutenant Alexei Naganov, captain Ivan Zubachev, lieutenant Andrei Kizhevatov and others. The rally gathered more than 700 participants including young people, peacekeepers, representatives of religious denominations, veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
The rally participants laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the dead with a minute of silence. Children released white doves into the sky as a symbol of peace.
