The Easter Festival at the Belarusian Academy of Music opened with Petr Tchaikovsky's opera Iolanta with vocal parts performed by members of the opera studio. The Academy has prepared many soloists for the musical theatres of our country. The festival programme included performances by the Academy's students as well as maestros.
Choral and instrumental music concerts will take place in the Academy concert hall during the week. And on Friday, all compositions and performances will be dedicated to the Great Victory. Songs of the war years will be performed by young vocalists.
