Belarus dealing with aftermath of bad weather

 Thunderstorms and downpours have followed the heat wave. 50 settlements in Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk regions remain without power supply. According to Belenergo, power supply was broken during the day in 461 villages. Outages are promptly eliminated by emergency crews. Dozens of trees fell and roofs of buildings were damaged. In the village of Pavlovschina, Dzerzhinsky District, a 50-year-old woman died after a tree fell on her. In Minsk District, in the villages of Zvenyachi, Bogushovo, Gorodishche and Grinkovo the roadways were washed away with destruction of the earth bed. The repair work is underway.
