Belarus is home to 4,427,000 men

According to the National Statistical Committee, Belarus is home to 4,427,000 men, which is 46.5% of the total population. Last year and early this year saw the birth of 18,000 boys more than in 2015.

Another interesting fact is that more than 20% of all men — or one in five men — live in the capital. The majority lives in the Minsk region, followed by the Gomel, Brest and Grodno regions.

The average Belarusian man is 37 years old and married 10 years ago. In half of the cases, he works in the economic field, mostly in the industry, construction and transport spheres.
