Armed Forces readiness check begins in Belarus

The military department describes monitoring as sudden and complex. The main purpose of the audit is to determine the ability of senior personnel to manage subordinate military units. Maneuvers will take place at the testing grounds and separate landfills in various conditions. The aim will be to overcome water barriers, practice combat training missions day and night in forests and settlements.

Alexander Volfovich, Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus: "The important task, that the Head of the State paid attention to, is to take an eye on the state of military equipment, including those in storage, as well as confirmation of its opportunities when performing combat training missions to defeat targets at maximum ranges, in the dark as well."

The results of the verification are used in the further training of the Armed Forces.
