From the first artificial satellite of the Earth to the most recognizable cosmonaut in the world. The exhibition "Orbits of Friendship" opened in Moscow, which collected unique items of the history of the development of Soviet and Belarusian-Russian cosmonautics. The exposition was started to collect 40 years ago, and now only a small part of it, about the cosmonauts with Belarusian roots, is shown.

At the exhibition you can see stamps with the image of Petr Klimuk, Vladimir Kovalenok and Oleg Novitsky, as well as postal envelopes with their autographs, ISS stamps, which are placed right on the space station. A series of stamps dedicated to Gagarin, Tereshkova and Leonov are also presented. In the USSR they were printed in millions of copies. But the face of the founder of manned cosmonautics for a long time was classified. The portrait of Sergei Korolev appeared on stamps only after his death, in 1966.

Ruslan Titov, editor of the magazine "Vostok. The Way to the Stars!":

“The exhibition was aimed at popularization of cosmonautics, popularization of Belarusian-Russian friendship. Because we all came out of the USSR, it was a great multinational country, and we pay tribute to both Soviet achievements and modern Russian-Belarusian achievements in cosmonautics. Because Belarus is developing a program of satellite building, the attention of the head of state is paid to it. In my opinion, as a historian of cosmonautics, this is not the first and not the last one.”
