The CSTO has planned joint exercises for 2024. The maneuvers will be held on the territory of three member states: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

A series of exercises "Interaction", "Search" and "Echelon" will be held in Kyrgyzstan. They will involve the intelligence forces and means of the collective forces, logistics troops and others. This year Kazakhstan will host a major exercise called "Unbreakable Brotherhood", in which the peacekeeping contingent of the CSTO countries traditionally participates. Tajikistan, in turn, will host an operational gathering with the command of the Central Asian region's collective rapid reaction forces, as well as the Rubezh-2024 exercise.

The events will be held in accordance with the plan approved by the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils.
