Belarusian drivers robbed off their trucks with cargo in Ukraine

When the red line has already been crossed, these people behave like real criminals. The armed people have taken away cars and goods worth 200 thousand euro from Belarusian drivers in Ukraine. The Investigation Committee of Belarus is looking into the circumstances.

The incident, according to the agency, took place on February 24 at the entrance to Domanove checkpoint in Ratno District of the Volyn Region. Five articulated trucks with goods were parked, when the Belarusians were approached by men in uniforms without insignia, armed with firearms. They demanded the drivers get out of the cars, show them the cargo and give them the keys.  And by threatening them, they forced them to leave the territory of Ukraine.

In total, the armed group seized property worth at least 200 thousand euros. Upon their arrival in the Republic of Belarus, the wronged individuals applied for help to the territorial bodies of internal affairs and told about what had happened. The Main Department for Investigation of Organized Crime and Corruption of the Investigation Committee of the Republic of Belarus initiated a criminal case under Part 3 Article 207 (robbery, with the purpose of seizing property on a large scale).
