No coronavirus found on Belarusians evacuated from China

Several Belarusians were evacuated from the Chinese city of Wuhan to Kazakhstan. This metropolis is quarantined due to a coronavirus outbreak. Our citizens were brought to Nur-Sultan with the assistance of the Embassy of Belarus in China and the National Coordination Center for Emergency Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan. Now, all Belarusians are in the infectious disease unit of the multidisciplinary hospital in Nur-Sultan. In an exclusive interview with the TV News Agency, Zhandarbek Bekshin, Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said that our compatriots are now under constant supervision of the Kazakh medics. There is a constant laboratory control and examination of patients. They are expected to be able to return to their home country after the quarantine. It is planned that tomorrow a hotline will be opened with Kazakhstan, through which relatives can learn about their health. Belarusians can apply for help at the embassy in Beijing. According to the Belarusian embassy in China, 12 of our citizens were in Wuhan at the time of the coronavirus outbreak, 8 of them came into contact. Our compatriots, who live in the Celestial Empire and want to return to their homeland, can apply for assistance to the Belarusian embassy.
