BSU students carry flame of knowledge through significant historical sites of university

The students carried the flame of knowledge through the historical sites of BSU. The relay race, timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the university, brought together all 20 faculties and educational institutions, as well as the College of Law and the Lyceum of BSU. The guys ran with a torch and a flag along the "Route of Time", which covered the central streets of the capital. These are the places of the first educational buildings, libraries, hostels. There are 20 such points in total. They started from Krasnoarmeiskaya 6, where the first principal lived and worked. The hour-long route ended in the courtyard. The team was met by the principal of the university - Andrey Korol.

Belarusian State University is included in 1% of the best universities in the world. For almost a century, the institution has trained over 180 000 specialists, 4 700 candidates of sciences, 700 PhDs and more than 15 000 foreign specialists, undergraduates and postgraduates. Well-known scientists, academicians, professors and laureates of state awards are among the graduates.
