Today is the Purification Day on the Orthodox calendar. It is one of the twelve major church holidays, symbolizing the meeting of the Old and New Testaments. The Belarusian bell ringers also dedicated their meeting to the feast. Sretenskie Perezvony festival was held in Soligorsk yesterday. The spiritual forum brought together representatives from all over Belarus. They exchanged the secrets of their skills and experience and gave a master class to those who are just beginning to learn the ringing art.
Sretenskie Perezvony covered all of Soligorsk: it was possible to hear the bells of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ, the Church of Saint Blessed Matrona of Moscow and other spiritual centers of the city.
