A KGB officer was fatally wounded. The attacker was killed by return fire. The fact that the shooter and his wife were filming everything on their cell phones attracts attention. Such cruelty defies any comprehension.
IC: The assailant's spouse was detained on suspicion of complicity in the murder
A 40 year old wife of the attacker, who also video-recorded the scene from the very beginning and aided in the crime, is being detained on suspicion of complicity in the murder of the KGB officer. The Investigation Committee is holding the urgent investigative actions and operational and investigative activities aimed at identifying persons involved in the crimes. A number of examinations have been appointed.

As before, the IC and other law enforcement agencies will continue to give a harsh and principled legal assessment to each fact of pressure, threats, attempts to implement them against law enforcement officers, citizens performing their public duty, their families. The Prosecutor General's Office carried out an inspection into the use of weapons against the KGB officer. The agency stressed that the deceased attacker was justifiably suspected of committing especially dangerous crimes related to terrorism.

The KGB officers and witnesses arrived at the suspects' dwelling on the basis of a search warrant authorized by the Deputy Prosecutor General. The owner ignored the repeated demands to open the door and let them in. Then the law enforcers legally opened the door and entered the apartment. The suspect shot twice at KGB officers, wounding one of the guards of the law, which caused his death. In response to the armed attack, the KGB officers used the firearms, after which the suspect died.
