In Belarus, 26 babies were born in the first hours of 2023 - 11 boys and 15 girls, reports sb.by, citing the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Health.
In total, seven children - two boys and five girls - were born in the capital on New Year's Eve. Four babies were born overnight in Mogilev Region - two boys and two girls. 3 babies were born in Vitsebsk Region on New Year's Eve - a boy and two girls.
Seven children were born in Brest Region - five boys and two girls. The first and only "New Year's Day" baby was born at 6:25 on January 1 in Minsk Region. In Gomel Region, the first "New Year's" baby boy was born at 7:01 am on January 1. Two girls were born in Grodno Region. The first "New Year" baby girl was born in the region at 2:13 a.m. on January 1.
