One of the main components of the growth of the Belarusian economy is exports. Although not everything is measured here by money. Belarus is known not only for deliveries of agricultural products, machinery, oil products, but also for the export of good deeds. Belarusians always respond to any trouble in the world. About 60 times our humanitarian aid was sent to various parts of the world. Such gestures of goodwill are extremely important from the political point of view as well - business negotiations acquire a new, friendly sound. Only recently, Minsk sent humanitarian aid to Ecuador, Syria, and Ukraine. And last week the plane with the Belarusian humanitarian cargo flew to Vietnam.

In the beginning of November, the typhoon hit the country, bringing with it death and destruction. The Republic of Belarus continued its charitable marathon literally in the very beginning of the new year. Before that the assistance was provided to Syria, Ukraine, and a year earlier to Ecuador - it was the longest flight for more than 11 thousand kilometers. The road to Vietnam is also not close - almost 8,500 km - and this is one of the reasons why the Boeing-747 is equipped with an engine that can overcome this distance by one flight.

The typhoon attacked Vietnam in the first days of November. The water level rose to the height of human growth. Gusts of wind, reaching 130 km per hour, broke power lines. About 123,000 houses were damaged or destroyed by the elements.

According to the Vietnamese National Coordination Council for Combating the Effects of Natural Disasters, more than a hundred people were killed, about 200 injured, and dozens more were missing. Water flooded more than 40 thousand residential buildings. Almost 80,000 people were evacuated. The government sent a quarter of a million troops and a fleet to the affected areas. Our country was one of the first countries to offer its friendly services and humanitarian aid.
