Drones made in Belarus

By Vladimir Koroliov: The 21st century gave a serious impetus to the development of robotics. In the future, these machines will become perfect weapons. For Belarus, in less than 10 years, drones became a reality.

The most common example is the Busel unmanned system. Now, the development of the Busel is undergoing an examination by the military. In the future, the complex will be used for intelligence and fire adjustment. The transfer of information takes time, but when there is a military or rescue operation, every minute counts. In this case, the information from the Busel system is received online and the operator-analyst is always aware of what is happening.

Where small and maneuvering drones are not enough, their more massive version come in handy. This Burevestnik drone has a range of up to 300 km. It can be used not only for the protection of the borders or any other vast territory, but for monitoring fires, radiation monitoring, protecting the area around a standing nuclear power plant and even delivering humanitarian aid to combat areas, as well as mail to mountainous and hard-to-reach places.

Next, the unmanned aerial vehicle Yastreb. This is the future of Belarusian drones – a full-fledged aircraft, which can deliver a cargo weighing 600 kg at a distance of up to 500 kilometers. Today, the Yastreb model is being developed on the special order of the Ministry of Defense.

Future drones will learn how to refuel in the air, which will extend their capabilities still further. Progress does not stop at this, though. Already now, ground robots are being developed here. New machines will learn how to extinguish fires, look for people in burning buildings, clear explosive devices, and help the law enforcement agencies.
