Belarus getting ready to the World Hockey Cup

Alexander Khorovets: Additional bus routes will be organized for comfortable arrival of tourists at the games. The number of flights to popular destinations will be augmented as well.

Igor Cherginets, deputy director general of Belavia national airline: Additional flights from Switzerland, Germany and other European countries are planned.

Volunteers will be greeting fans at the railroad stations. Inter-city trains will be taking fans to the ice-rinks.

Vladimir Grigorovich, the head of Minsk Passenger Railroad Station: The schedule will be made with account to the games. Reserve trains will be prepared.

10 additional bus and 1 trolley-bus routes will be launched during the championship. Between the games the fans will be able to see the sights of the city. Dozens of sightseeing buses will be touring about Minsk and its suburbs.

Alla Saphonova, head of the tourist center: The excursions will be organized in Russian and In English. We plan about 4-5 excursions a day. They can be booked in advance by phone or Internet.

The World Hockey Cup will be a test for the entire Belarusian transport system.
