Diverse opinions are taken into account, but the main thing is to consider the future of the country. The work of the Constitutional Commission has started. The President signed the corresponding decree. The decision to create it was made at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. The challenge lies ahead of organizing a broad discussion of the proposed amendments to the Basic Law. The work of the Commission will be as public and open as possible. Young people are also ready to make their contribution, they were also involved in that responsible deal.
In total, the Constitutional Commission included 36 people. These are representatives of government agencies, public associations, various sectors of the economy and the social sphere, lawyers. All of them are honored people of different generations with an active civil position. The Commission includes representatives of science and education.
The deadline for the work of the Constitutional Commission is August 1. The developed proposals for amending the Basic Law should be submitted by this date. Further, they are planned to be publicly discussed and submitted to a republican referendum.
