President of Belarus exposes core principle of his education policy

While opening a meeting on the development of the national education system, Alexander Lukashenko stressed that the main principle of his policy in this area is fair treatment of every person and ensuring equal opportunities for learning, BelTA informs.

"The truth is that I have thought about this thesis in such a way and concluded that there are such opportunities as never before. Especially with regard to the targeted referral of guys and gals to study at university. Targeted referrals are a great benefit. Those who did well in school have the opportunity to go to college," the president said.

"Therefore, teachers, graduates and their parents should know all the rules clearly," said the Belarusian leader.
