Results of fruitful work summed up in President’s Address

The concept of the Belarusian sovereignty and independent policy was the focus of the entire address to the nation. While earlier independence sounded rather like a basis and a goal, today it is a real fact and a support for development. 

The key issues of the address included foreign policy, security, economy, social sphere, health and sports, science and education, fight against corruption. The President also laid emphasis on the internal agenda: regional development, wages, prices, employment, large and small business. As the President has repeatedly said, a strong economy is a foundation of a successful state.
